Sachin Sagare, Ratnagiri
Hailing from the small village of Pandharpur in central Maharashtra, Sachin has studied art at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalay, Pune, and Dalvis Art Institute, Kolhapur. His upbringing deeply influenced him, particularly by the passionate and hardworking women he observed while growing up. These women, who are the cornerstone of shaping societal values and culture, are justly depicted in his paintings.
In his paintings, Sachin blends stylistic elements from scenes of rustic rural life with a contemporary fascination for classical antiquity. His handling of flowers, jewelry, and textiles contributes to the creation of a sensual and distinctly exotic atmosphere.
