The central element of the artwork, titled ‘Talk on Corners’, is a bold and expressive black calligraphic stroke that traverses across all five panels, which is at once fluid and also quite physical in its material presence and topography. Within this stroke, obscured line drawings of retro audio cassettes emerge, inviting viewers to delve into a multifaceted exploration of communication, nostalgia, passage of time and analogue memories in a digital world. The scribbled notes and sentences in each panel are in themselves points of departures for ever new narratives and fictions. The artwork invites viewers to embark on a contemplative journey that is both linear as well as corrugated.
