Pradiptaa Chakraborty, Sirsa
Born in Malda Town, West Bengal, PradiptaaChakroborty is an alumnus in of the prestigious Kala Bhavana, Vishva Bharati, Shantiniketan. Additionally, he holds a five-year diploma in painting from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. His solo exhibitions have taken him to various parts of India, while his participation in group exhibitions has garnered him recognition globally in art circles. His works are housed in prestigious collections across India and worldwide. Currently, he resides and works from Haryana.
Pradiptaa has been deeply influenced by renowned mentors such as KG Subramanyan and Jogen Chowdhury, both esteemed figures in the art world. His inspiration stems from literature, poetry, and performing arts, particularly the street theatre of West Bengal, with a rich heritage spanning generations which can be seen in his artworks.
