Neena Singh, Pune
Neena Singh is a self-taught contemporary artist, she did her Masters, M.Phil and Ph.D in Sociology from JNU, New Delhi. She has participated in multiple prestigious group shows and exhibitions in India and aboard, and also has thirteen solo shows to her credit.
The artist’s works are intricately linked with their life, compelling us to explore themes of selfhood, renewal, rejuvenation, and transcendence through the metaphor of landscape. She does not believe in labelling her paintings as abstract landscapes. Nature, to her offers limitless generative possibilities for art and life. Through nature’s motifs, she embarks on an inner voyage to discover a universe and create a space conducive to breathing fresh air.
