Vitesh Naik, Goa
A Goa based artist, obtained his BFA in Painting from Goa College of Art, Panaji. He has participated in numerous art camps and workshops held across India.
In his artworks, the paintings by the artist are character-oriented and often depict crowded scenes filled with numerous human forms and figures. For him, painting serves as a mirror reflecting his self-image, aiding in self-identification. He frequently employs metaphors, signs, and symbols to develop his pictorial language, adding depth and meaning to his art. This element imbues his work with infinite interpretations and layers of significance. Utilizing a spectrum ranging from bright colors to pitch black and grey tones, his paintings create visual depth and rhythm. The interplay of colorful shades, dark tones, varied lines, and different forms in mixed media transports him into a realm of vast imagination, where he is free to express his inner feelings and moods within a modern context.
