RamuMaredu completed his Masters in Fine Arts from Central University, Hyderabad. He specializes in contemporary art, employing modern techniques in his work. He works across various mediums and concentrates on urban landscapes and abstract art.
Rooted in an agricultural background, Maredu’s imagery is a lexicon that is compelling in the works on display. Each composition has a message for the observer. There is a childlike approach to his renditions that have thick brush strokes to emphasize certain symbolisms in his compositions.
