Based in Mumbai, a city characterized by its bustling creativity influenced by its diverse food, people, culture, architecture, ever-changing urban landscapes, and nature, she draws inspiration from the dynamic essence of Mumbai over the years. She completed her Master of Fine Art in print-making from Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai.
Her works evolve from her daily experiences of the spaces around. The compositions feature intriguing linear perspectives that create the illusion of vastness within small compositions. Fascinated by life and its natural processes of decay, she has been captivated by the concept of wabi-sabi from Japanese aesthetics for some time. She finds beauty in the transience of objects, appreciating the nuances of aging, growth, and decay. Often, an emotional response is evoked from the diversity and imperfections found in these experiences. She brings out the often-overlooked details in familiar images.
