Dhan embarked on his painting journey during his school years in Hyderabad under the guidance of his Guru Sri. T. Vaikuntum. A graduate in Fine Arts from JNTU College of Fine Arts, Hyderabad, Dhan Prasad is a contemporary artist specializing in oil on canvas. He began participating in exhibitions at a young age, and has since showcased in over 40 group and solo national and international exhibitions.
Artist Dhan Prasad’s creations draw inspiration from the ordinary individuals encountered in everyday life. His pieces reveal the rustic essence of rural life in Telangana, showcasing men and women adorned in traditional attire, engrossed in mundane tasks and simple pleasures. Through vibrant colours and enhanced aesthetics, the artist illuminates the charm of village life, casting a luminous and iridescent impact on the canvas.
