Description

Darshil Rupareliya, Goa

Darshil’s artistic journey began against the backdrop of India’s rich spiritual heritage, where the wisdom of meditation and interconnectedness of all life deeply influenced him. Starting as an architect, he transitioned into art, viewing it as a profound calling rather than just a vocation.

He explains “When I am in an impalpable state, my thoughts are restrained and energy flows through me onto the paper seamlessly making my hand move without the feel of gravity. My practice is a visual expression of events through composition in a docile state of mind. The life experiences inspire me to create works by using basic geometric shapes, forms, and lines; and this process is instrumental in anchoring my emotions. I perceive my work in a specific way: the expression of art is directly proportionate to the amount of patience I have in my inner urn of consciousness. I am loud in the realm of silence.”
